i went to the museum with farmbaby and this is my favorite part. this was two weeks ago but still relevant.

i’m reblogging this because #1 I like the photos, and #2 there’s photos of a chicken processing day from last year, in case anyone wasn’t following me then and wanted to see them. IDK if I’ll be photographing tomorrow; I might, but I also feel like i probably have enough photos of that particular activity.
Gotta go transform the barn from hard dingy winter use to bright shiny sanitary processing facility! (It’s a NY 5a-certified facility, and subject to state inspection and up to code and all that, and we get the water tested and all, and my background in food service means I lose my absolute shit about sanitation which means they mostly let me be in charge of the bleach.)
