ughhhh after getting like 80 notifications that my eShakti dress was getting delivered today, I finally went and checked the tracking at like 10pm because bitch for real nobody’s showing up out here then and
no they just aren’t gonna deliver it today, they’ll deliver it “on the next movement date”.
Which means Monday. They only deliver on Saturday if you bought Saturday delivery specially.
I’ll be out of town for 10 days starting tomorrow.
So that shit is going to sit outside my house for a solid week.

Oh no it’s actually worse! They just texted me a tracking update, and they’re delivering it by end of day TODAY!
I’m supposed to hit the road before noon! I was going to try to get to the farm by like 3pm and set up the yurt today.
So I get to either 1) know that my package is going to sit around in the rain for an extra two days, or 2) PUT MY GODDAMN LIFE ON HOLD TO WAIT FOR IT.
Let me rearrange ALL OF MY TRAVEL PLANS. Only for it never to arrive, and at like 7pm I go check the tracking on the website and it says “held until next movement cycle” with some like “oh it was delayed” explanation and then I’ve screwed up my whole weekend for it.
URGHH. FUCK. WHAT DO. HATE YOU DHL.
I mean, the rain has already fucked up my plans– Farmsister warned me on like Wednesday that it’s going to be raining today, and it’s raining from here to Maryland and beyond, and it’s going to do so all day. So I really can’t set up the yurt. So I could just– delay, and go out later. I CAN wait for this thing, but like. What if it then doesn’t show up? I’ll be super irritated and it will have wrecked my entire weekend.
I mean. I could have worse problems, I’m aware of that. But I’m annoyed and indecisive and this isn’t helping.
