Sometimes when you drape something, adjacent pieces end up with edges that don’t match up very well, especially corset type patterns. Below is a low waist and hips pattern I just draped. You can see how the vertical edges look awkward and don’t match very well.
So what you can do is trace a piece, and lay the adjacent piece on top (the way you would sew them), and trace its edge too. So now you can really see how awkward this would be to sew.
Now split the difference and draw a new edge (orange line below) right in the middle of the two. This is the new edge. Do this to all of the pieces.
They will now match perfectly when you sew them, and theoretically, their sum measurement has not changed.
Here are the pieces before and after equalizing the seams:
