oh no Dude says of the team member who alerted him to the problem that she just messaged him and said to keep her apprised of the situation, she had to duck out for a moment to “go pick up pizza for the 15 13-year-old girls in my house right now and my husband’s drank too many beers to go do it” and he was like, you know what, you know what, your position is worse than mine just now, I would do basically anything not to have 15 13-year-old girls in my house, I will stay here and write code and that’s fine.
I pointed out that probably at least one of the 13-year-olds belongs to her, and thus presumably belongs in the house, and so presumably she’s used to teenagers, and he was still like “that sounds awful”
I’m mad at the husband! Why would you get drunk and leave your poor wife the only sober one to deal with that? good lord, man. I would have one or two and take the edge off, sure, but not so many that I couldn’t be called upon to go pick up pizzas! Hmph.
