I think it was just called Troll Hunter? and I don’t feel like looking it up but I VIVIDLY remember being in @beecreeper’s basement like I feel like watching something this looks stupid let’s have a laugh
and by the end of it we were just sitting there like
cause NOTHING about the premise of “found footage style film about college students who stumble upon the underground world of regulating Norwegian troll populations” prepares you for how genuinely innovative and cool it is
that one dude got troll rabies
and they all got covered in Stink. I love it god
The part when the veteran troll hunter walks out in his rusty trash can armor with a bucket of blood and just pauses and says “I hate this fucking job” was one of the peak moments in cinema

and when they get the replacement cameraman, and she gets off the train and she’s in a hijab, and they say “this is probably a dumb question but are you Christian” and she just stares at them and they’re like “oh good. well we had to ask. trolls can smell Christians.”
