Saga complete… for now. Thank you Windows 10 for finally popping up an error message that led to a troubleshooting link!! I can read and follow directions but I need a hint, yknow? The answer was apparently a Clean Boot, which sounds like something completely other than what it was. And yes, this is all the same issue I’ve been having for three weeks. But. I sort of fixed it. I’m very proud of myself. Now we wait to see how long this lasts..
