Listen, ok, I’ve had this shirt since like 2004 and it’s an engrish dot com Internet meme thing related to a 1993 Nirvana song so don’t take it too literally. The shirt fit me 30 pounds ago (thanks Celexa!) and instead of getting rid of it I hoarded it like I do everything. Last year sometime I dug it out, cut it short, hand-stitched a waistband onto it, and glued rhinestones to it. (Those dots sparkle in better light.) Yesterday I found it in a box and sewed the skirt I clearly drafted, cut, seamed, put onto the box with it, and forgot entirely, onto it. So there’s a whole journey there and it’s dumb but it’s mine. So I’m wearing it today.
