Dude just affectionately called the cat “Allergen”. That’s a new pet name.
My hives have mostly… well, the swelling’s still there, but they’re not red and they don’t burn. Ugh. So I’m just… textured. Mm.
(At least I know I’m not allergic to the cat.)
I spent most of this evening accidentally rereading old things I’d written. Started off reading the Home Out In The Wind sequel, which I had convinced myself was terrible but which is actually sort of, well, at least parts of it are kind of cool. Badly needs a title, of course.
Then somehow I veered off and read the like 150k unpublished SGA fic I wrote like four years ago now, which I never finished any of. It’s John/Nancy, nobody ships that and nobody would read it if i posted it, but damn if some of the porn wasn’t kinda hot. Parts of it I would absolutely not write like that now, but I haven’t improved my writing that dramatically. Organization, maybe. But writing, no. It’s a decent hunk of work. Too bad it’s not actually useful for anything.
