I normally hate when people try to pass off male ignorance as cute– and like, for real, he knows I can’t buy clothes anywhere, I’ve complained about it for a decade and a half now– but in this case, yeah, it is freakin’ adorable. Because he’d asked what my size was and I’d told him, and technically what I’d told him fell within the range of the claimed “one size” that this was meant to fit “all” of. And he’d clearly looked pretty hard to find even that, and had obviously given some thought to the fact that my proportions are atypical.
He was so amazed to discover that One Size Fits All is a damned lie. So amazed. Because he really thinks I’m “pretty normal-sized really”. Bless his little heart. (I say that as a Northerner; when we say that we really mean we think somebody’s cute.)

I love his bewilderment at the blatant falsehood of one size fits all. And that sounds like a GREAT gift for a significant other.
I’m glad you think so too. I don’t like spending money on myself. Well, I love spending money on myself, but I hate spending money I don’t have, so. But I really can’t think of anything to get him and he doesn’t want anything, so.
