When we put Chita into a boarding place for the week, I had a stroke of inspiration and dug out my heating pad to send along, knowing that she’s accustomed to hours of lap-snoozing in a day. It was a hit at the kennel; they said she spent most of her time on it. Back home, once she settled down she was inconsolable unless on a lap. In order to let Z eat dinner, I dug the heating pad back out.
She’s probably never going to get off of it again, unless I turn it off. Selfishly I’m probably going to turn it off overnight so I get some sleep snuggles.
