I’ve been liveblogging my family Christmas Experience on Twitter because the app is easier to use and it keeps me brief. Some of y’all have noticed. I’m having a great time, I don’t know if that’s coming across.

The threading tool keeps breaking, or I get lost and forget where I was and break the threads, or something, but. Anyway. I liveblogged the trip down, and am trying to do a thread during all the main events. Mostly because I’m not having the same depression problems as I did last year, but I am forgetful and brainfoggy as shit, and I want some record of what I’m doing. Also my family is hilarious and my attempts to describe it are never adequate. Maybe with some of the specifics recorded, I can explain it better.
If nothing else, I’m just having a good time and am so happy with these people in this place at this time, so. I genuinely don’t know if I’m conveying it but it’s just so nice to be with all of my sisters. I got to go to Wal-Mart (shudder) at 7:15 am with my oldest sister, and actually ask her how her life was going. I’ve spoken to her so rarely, I barely know her as an adult, but she and I are the closest in age of any of the siblings and I was so close to her as a child, and I just– I miss her, almost all the time, and it’s nice to get to catch up at least a little.
Tomorrow there’s a Christmas pageant and i get to wrap all my gifts last-minute, so. It oughta be good.
And like.
