ah i get it! i am currently doing a ten day stint of living in someones house and not touching anything and taking care of 3 dogs lmao! it’s a good way to be technically self employed while i wait for the right time to do a cross country move. i’m glad you found an online form for the vet and i hope everything goes smoothly!
the internet is amazing. i went from not knowing that was a thing to realizing i know someone who does it and is doing it right now. that’s amazing.

The place we’re going to board her has brand-name water that goes in their bowls, and 24 hour staffing, and some of the suites have windows with bird feeders, and some of the suites have fish aquariums next to them.
Chita spent all of last night sleeping on my arm/face and purring. maybe she Knows.
i dunno if you have someone live in your house as a service do you pay extra to get your cat face-sleeping privileges.
do you tip the person who lives in your house and spoons your cat.
Could you combine pet-sitting with AirBnB and just pet-sit your way across the nation. Park yr Uhaul in the driveway. oh my god rent an RV. Rent an RV and book yourself progressive appointments ever eastward. LIFEHACK. (I’m kidding that would be so incredibly complicated and exhausting besides being unfeasible and you know halfway through some regular in like Omaha would insist you come back from Punxatawney or wherever you’ve made it to.)
Oh in related/Found Cat news, the sister whose cat’s shenanigans with the downstairs neighbor inspired Found Cat reports that her cat now spoons in bed with the downstairs neighbor, who she herself barely knows, so that’s kind of… sometimes Wednesday-cat comes in and is all snuggly and purry and my sister is like, are you this warm because you were just in bed with a woman i’m barely acquainted with and her boyfriend who i’ve never even met, and is slightly creeped-out.
My A/U of that is much nicer I think.
(Did I say on here that I was figuring on re-evaluating the additional material I have in the Found Cat / Sled Dog Guy ‘verse once TLJ comes out? If canon doesn’t do anything for me I might yet get a good plot goose for the AU out of it. We’ll see!)
