I’ve been waiting all my life for this
These are super cute and I might get one but let’s be real here, the genuine charm of the gender-neutral 1920s bathing costume was that it was made of wool, which drapes much more interestingly (and forgivingly) than modern spandex. I want a wool bathing costume, is what I really want.
I can’t blame these guys, though, wool used to be economical and by now is decidedly Not. I don’t even know if you can get the right kind of wool jersey anymore.
