The story is, that’s a self-portrait. He’s Señor Wiener. That’s what the tattoo is.
Anyway. Really the story I wanted to link to is the Buffalo News article, because of the headline. But when I pasted it in here, Tumblr auto-filled a giant photo of him nude, and I just… it wasn’t NSFW exactly, but it’s a lot of naked dude that maybe not everyone wants to see.
HILARIOUSLY, when the Buffalo News did a story about me may years ago (I was interviewed about the fat acceptance movement!) they declined to use a photo I provided of myself in my derby uniform because it “showed too much skin”, opting to shoot another photo where I wore black leggings instead of the beige tights I’d had on in the original photo. But. Anyway.

And on instagram, where his sister posted about his release, my dude said “I don’t know if he’s the hero Buffalo exactly wanted” and I responded “he’s absolutely the hero Buffalo deserves”.
