I ran out of ibuprofen last night and my fever spiked and I sweated through my sheets and my bed was so wet I wanted to get out of it but I had nowhere else to sleep so I just lay in it. Gross. I could’ve wrung out my t-shirt when I woke up this morning, it was appalling.
I’m still out of ibuprofen and now I’m out of maxi pads. (I have a diva cup but that requires coordination. Ugh.)
I have to go to the drug store, but my fever is up again and my head is stuffed full of cotton wool and i can’t see straight.
I am so bored of being sick. At least I’m not out of Mucinex. My coworker who has the same thing is convinced it’s turning to pneumonia, which both of us are prone to, but I know my lungs will be okay because I’ve been taking guaifenesin and it’s kept the gross awful congestion from being too nasty. That’s the kind of thing that if the shit builds up, you get the bronchitis and pneumonia complications.
I’m just dealing with the main thing, which is kicking my ass.
I’m bored of being sick but damned if I can do anything about it.
I’d go back to bed but it’s probably still fucking damp. That is so, so, so gross. Am I going to be strong enough to change the sheets? Given that I can’t dress myself, unlikely.
