Mmm back from the farm to the office job, where I am welcomed by the need to perform my usual ritual: power-cycle all the network devices twelve to fifteen times, until a man shows up to do the exact same thing, whereupon it will work when all my attempts have failed. Very rewarding, and yes I take meticulous notes each time so I do, in fact, know that I am doing the exact same things he is in the same order.
(Actually, I have a suspicion that it is, yet again, a bad Windows 10 update causing a computer to take down the network. I know because I just yanked the nonresponsive computer’s power cord out of the wall and half a dozen queued print jobs just spit out.)
