Step 1 for winterizing the yurt is to cut sheets of radiant barrier insulation to fit it. I’m using Reflectix, which is bubble wrap backed with foil on both sides. I plan to put in quilted panels inside, made from salvaged drapes and old mattress pads and such. We’ll see how well I do– it was 48 last night, inside and out. #yurtlife #yurt
