Back at the farm. Informal census: funnel spider in door corner, check, apparently dead grass spider in other door corner, hm, tiny spider of unknown type in corner of nightstand legs, probably ok to leave, oh hm there’s another funnel spider in my hanging clothes storage, that guy’s gonna have to get relocated, but not right this mo– OH GOD AGH ACK UGH ORB WEAVER HAS SPUN WEB FROM ROOF RING TO FLOOR AND I JUST WALKED THROUGH IT GET IT OFF ME OH MY GOD.
No sign of the spider, but the web is everywhere, I am Not Best Pleased. I had a little talk with that spider before I left, too, and I drew little boundaries in clove oil, like, you can have the roof ring sister, bugs get in that way and collect there and someone should eat them, that’s totally cool, you can have that whole space, but JESUS CHRIST there is ONE RULE in this joint and it is that you DON’T TOUCH ME ARGH.
Apparently clove oil only works as a boundary for, well, something under seven days, obviously. And orb weavers are hella ambitious.
