On the tour boat they were selling Caesars (bloody Mary with Clamato juice, which contains clam broth), so of course, when in Rome.
More seriously, our seatmates on board were a lovely family of Canadians. The mother, joking about passport control in the US, said, “good thing I have a Canadian passport, I’m from Iran ” and I almost started crying and said, “I’m so sorry.” She took my hand and said “I know, honey.” They were really lovely. (at 1000 Islands Gananoque)
