Oh gosh. I think my cross-posting from Tumblr thing is kind of a disaster and I am sort of sorry, probably nobody follows me on here anymore because it does look so ugly and posts so much! But it nearly killed me trying to set it up, and i have no real idea how to fix it or make it stop. Ugh.

I thought I should look on here again, though, because of the latest Tumblr fracas over net neutrality. I should get back into the habit of writing personal updates on here instead of Tumblr; people read over there, but it's so hard to keep up in return.

Anyway. I was going to do a long personal update but I just looked at my page and was sort of ashamed at all the gross crossposts on here, and now I have to go and think about that.

I need to do so much mental house cleaning and I don't know where to start. Oh well! Here I am, I'm still alive, I'm trying to focus, oh well.

I'm still doggedly here, and it's a great help because I can read this when tumblr isn't possible for reasons of data scarcity.

That's what's sort of drawing me back here, data scarcity-- I went through SO MUCH mobile data during my yurt time and it was mostly wasted scrolling thru Tumblr, which is so redundant, and you can't keep it from loading gifsets you've already seen from shows you don't watch that all your friends do, and I just-- I wish there was a way to be like, ok, I only want to see original content... Sigh.
Anyway. I need to figure out a better crossposting method. Maybe I'll make it so that I post *from* here *to* Tumblr for the longer stuff? I have friends who've done that and I love/hate to click through, but, I'd rather that than just not be online!

I wish I were better at IFTTT recipes, I can't make them work at all and I'm really dumb about it. And image hosting, it's such a early-2000s problem to have but I don't know where to host images if I want to have pictures in posts like I've gotten spoiled with...

I have no idea what IFTTT recipes are, sorry. I tend to host images on tumblr or facebook and then linking to dw. Pretty sure one can create a tumblr feed for a dw account, tho? Or set it to crosspost.
