A drawing I did for my niece. I’m posting it because there’s an April Fool’s thing on Tumblr where people who write post art they drew, and vice versa. Apart from BB, there’s not much I draw nowadays, though I used to love art. A high school art teacher told me not to bother with art anymore, though, so I gave it up!

Possibly the same HS art teacher told me the same thing. She was right that I stunk, but you do not so you should immediately set about disregarding her advice. In fact do the opposite of anything she ever told you!

No, it was Ed McCartan. He was my advisor.
I was in an advanced studio class with two other girls, and they both frequently painted nude self-portraits, and I didn't, and he gave them good grades and told me that my art, despite fitting the criteria he'd set, just "wasn't good", and refused to elaborate.
