So this is a short one but it’s a sort of epilogue for Growing Out. I want to break there, and have the next story start up in a new thingy– oh dear I’ve run out of nouns. Uhhh but you know what I mean. It’s not going to be a timeskip it’s just going to be a new POV, and I want to like, address some issues and things and just start fresh on that. So today’s short update wraps up Growing Out, and next Friday– well, I hope next Friday that I can actually update Fit For Pearls, because I have been slogging through deep mud and accomplishing very little but I think I’m very close to the end and then there is a great deal of material to write from Ciri’s POV etc., and I would like to get to that. So.
ANYWAY i do overuse that word, don’t i. Anyway. I. Nouns. Words. Blghgh.

I did a fun experimental POV for the end of Growing Out which I hope you all enjoy, perhaps I had a bit of David Attenborough narration in this paragraph here, also I definitely have extrapolated wildly from the concept of electric eels to come up with how draconid telepathy works and like why not, ok? Why not! It works on dry land because magic.
In the tower below, the life-forces of a number of people sparked and shimmered, palpable to the sense that was not smell or taste or feeling or hearing but something else, something related to telepathy. They were the little signals that animated living creatures, signals emanating from the brain and traveling along the nerves to move the muscles, and most draconids could sense them to some extent, but dragons the most keenly of all.
