May. 20th, 2002 11:22 pmwatching hockey-- avs beat wings 4-3 in 1st OT-- no squids flying around today, just as well, not so stinky in there...
there was a commercial for the movie "undercover brother", and this blond chick says (in this little breathy voice) to the protagonist "You're too much man for me"... so DW and I have been saying that to each other all evening. "You're too much man for me!" [context: darius, who called in sick today, is wandering around with his hair sticking up, wearing big sweatpants and a gigantic sweat shirt, looking about twelve, with his pants leg tucked into his white athletic sock, his tongue hanging out and his eyes half open. Far, far too much man. Definitely.]
so had a little conversation with dw on the ride back from Buffalo last night (a lovely city, which I managed to avoid really seeing any of), and he's certainly in an exploratory phase. It seems those jokes about NG being his girlfriend may not have been entirely jokes-- laugh if you like, but think it over... really... all that Official Club Business... NG did manage to hook up with Karate Chick, though, so that was the end of all that.
he had a lot of interesting things to say on his own explorations... I'll miss talking about relationships with him, because he's one of the few people I can understand who I also seem to be able to get my point across to. Conversations in general, really. But relationships are the most fun conversations.
All I have to say about all this is that he's one sneaky bastard!
