You probably have a bulging/herniated disc in your neck. Although it also may be the fact that one side of your hip hurts and you're overcompensating on the other side which may be compressing your neck as well.

No, I know it's from when I subluxed my shoulder the week before last. There's no mystery, I'm just annoyed that it's worse than usual. I do this all the time, though.
