Assembled jacket entirely, set in other sleeve. Need to take sleeves in about an inch and a half all the way down; they're too loose. Should try them on over shift and corset first, however.

Set sleeves into purple wool jacket I started making ages ago. Now it only requires neckline, buttons, and hemming, and will be wearable for Pennsic. Thereby ensuring I won't need anything so warm as a wool jacket. It's a Turkish-style entari type thing, so I can wear it with whatever, and with a head and face scarf in the evening, so that if I want to put a dust mask on under my face scarf I can do that. I want to attempt to not lose my voice and suffer those searing chest pains this year from all the shit you gotta breathe in the Swamp.
Cut out and began to assemble a self-supportive shift-type garment, which I can wear in lieu of a bra and shirt. It will lace at the sides. It needs some design tweaking. Once I get one prototype done it will be easy to make several. I will probably wear them as nightgowns in real life as well as pretty much every day at Pennsic. I've been wanting to make one for years now. I think I have a plan worked out. I may be able to adapt it into a choli-substitute garment that I could wear in mundane life as well; it may even be modest enough in appearance to wear to work. But I'm not holding my breath for that. Still, it's promising.
Hunted all over for the silk gauze I bought last month for the fichu for the 18th-c dress. Found it finally. Have enough that I might also make sleeve under-ruffles with it. It's lovely stuff. Thank you, Dharma.
Re-re-re-washed the yellow linen for the skirt. It's still screaming yellow. Found the other blue linen. It doesn't really go. So i'll just deal with the yellow skirt. It'll be fine.
Sorted through Z's garb. He needs some stuff, but less than I'd worried. I can knock him out another tunic in like an hour. I'm sure I'll have time... someday.
Sorted through my half-completed garb pile. There's some stuff it will take me literally fifteen minutes to finish. I don't feel so bad about my wardrobe right now.
Knocked out one thing, a reconstruction of a skirt into a chirka, in ten minutes. But it needs adjustment. Boo. Well, we'll see how easy that is to do. At least I know my design is workable.
Did a load of laundry. Clean towels!!
Found the fabric I'd intended to use for a cap for the wedding outfit. Have plenty. Awesome. May make more than one cap, for use at Pennsic as well. This could work out, f'realz. We'll see.
Found the ties for the petticoat. I should sew those on. Tomorrow.
Tried the jacket on over the bumroll. I really don't think I need it. My ass is big enough on its own. Well, that's a small victory, given my family's history of Flat-Assedess.

Z has been working on the garden, which I haven't even so much as been into this year, pretty much. He's clearing out in front of the house. I'm glad; I just can't do it this year. There isn't time for me to keep up with any of it. He's being ruthless, which is what needs to happen. I only wish it hadn't cost me the clematis vine my sister bought me. He thinks it might come back-- he didn't rip it out, he just clipped off every single shoot. There's not a single leaf left on it, so I'm pretty sure there's no way it'll survive-- it's not even the type that's meant to be pruned back every year. So it's dead, and I'll have to buy a replacement. Oh well. I'll get over it.

I've got to go to bed. I don't have any more brain cells. I didn't take a nap this evening, though I was exhausted, because I just wanted to push through and finish one more thing. And now that I'm about to go to bed, I know I'm getting a second eighth wind, and I'll lie in bed for at least an hour thinking about stuff.
Bah, it sucks to get old.
