dragonlady7I'm just wordy today.
Tonight we had both macaroni-and-cheese with bacon in it, made by Z, and oatmeal scotchies, made by me, in the oven concurrently. Today is a good day.
I am so sleepy though. I needed a nap badly and wound up lying in bed for 45 minutes with a heating pad AND a cat on me, and it wasn't enough to keep the pain at bay enough that I could sleep. So I rose and took a handful of ibuprofin (OK, 2), and went about my business, in almost too much pain to stand, but it didn't hurt any less if I sat down. Eventually the pain eased and I got a little more done.
No photos yet, but soon. I have the Lair partly set up, with one sewing machine set up and ready to go, and a second moved but not set up yet. The living room is mostly hoed out, and I've started organizing the crap I hauled down from there. There's still shelves and a table to move down, though, and I have to make a final decision about what chairs are coming down and where I'm putting everything since that corner cabinet is not moving. I think, think think, I will redo the space under the stairs and move the downstairs fridge over there and make all that into the pantry, and use the current pantry closet as a root cellar-- set that up properly and maybe put some insulating curtains around it to keep it colder and moister in there, as it should be for roots.
Then I can set up the shelves and such for canning and brewing, which I do plan on doing more of down there.
