Piece of shit coworker went on lunch break at 2pm, did not clock out, and is not back yet. It is 5pm.
We started taking bets at 2:30 whether she’d be back in time to clock out at quitting time.

It literally doesn’t matter, she could read her book anywhere. She just– I can’t imagine being such a piece of shit that I didn’t care at all.

She's the one who submits the time cards, so-- she was regularly padding her hours an enormous amount for weeks, and only seems to have slowed down on doing it when she happened to call in sick one day when the time cards were due and so someone else did them. And here's how stupid she is-- she CALLED and was like "I got shorted hours!" and they went over the punch-ins and -outs with her and they were like but you came in late and left early every single day, those are all the hours you worked, and she was all, "there must be some mistake!" and they were like "it is a lot less hours than you usually work but which of these days is wrong, why would you have punched out 45 minutes early if you didn't really leave 45 minutes early?" and we were all like "oh weird she wasn't around any less this pay period than usual" and we had our fingers crossed she'd get fired, but no.
Anyway.
I'm sure they'll pay her for the hours because they're just glad nobody had to fire her because someone would've had to come up from Philadelphia to do it and they just plain don't want the hassle.
