dragonlady7Sinus headache, or maybe it's a headache from coughing a lot. Boo. It kind of sucks.
I have been working on bout footage, yesterday and today. It's just such a long damn process. I got the stat sheets from Ace, though, which is awesome because it means I don't have to sort of guess what the official stats were.
It was great for Z, too, because for the first time ever, thanks to the Twitter feed, he has a record of both the scoreboard's live updates and of the jammer statistician's scorekeeping. He has always worried, since he began operating the scoreboard, that he might be getting it wrong, or letting inaccuracies creep in, or what-have-you. He was greatly reassured by double-checking this one: it was off by as much as six points in both directions at various points, but in the end was reconciled almost perfectly except for a final error that they knew about immediately after the game.
He was reassured, but will be practicing more for this upcoming bout, fo sho.
Z is going out tonight for a Dude's Night Out with his buddies from high school. Well, one of them is actually his buddy since kindergarten, and is expecting a baby next month. So that'll be fun. They're going out for dinner and beers, which means I'm on my own tonight.
I'm theoretically psyched, because having the house to myself is peaceful and fun, but the way I feel at the moment, I'll probably just nap the whole time. Boring.
I have to call my mother as it's her birthday. Don't let me forget.
I have been puttering with the sewing machine, and have determined that I need to take it all the way apart and clean/lubricate the sewing arm part of it, but don't know how. Hm.
I need to make a light box so I can photograph my sewing stuff easier.
I need to get the photos off my camera.
I think I need to take a nap because I have no active brain cells right now and can't focus and my head hurts. Constructive, I am not.
