Busy day. V. sleepy now. Baked a bunch of bread. Started a bunch of seeds. Placed my order with Burpee, finally. Now have two big flats of started seeds under lights in the basement. need to rig some curtains so the space heater can be effective at all, though-- cold down there, too cold for germination. Don't have time tomorrow. Have a baby shower (!?!? I know) on Sunday. Monday'll have to be it.
I own two timers, the kind you set to turn power on and off and plug your lights into? I can't find either one. It's not like those would be useful for anything else. But I didn't start seeds last year so I didn't use them, so I don't know where they got put meanwhile.
I think it's really weird that in this household I am the only one who ever thinks to ask if the cats have been fed. I usually nag someone else into doing it-- a la hey, while you're up, um it's kinda midnight, could you feed them-- but I'm always the one who seems to remember. So I wonder what's up with that. I don't know why I don't ever feed them-- I sort of hate doing it, and don't know why. I also hate the fact that the cats seem to always think I should be feeding them, which is why I keep trying to not be the one who does, because I'm the person most often in the kitchen and it is TEDIOUS to have small cats constantly tripping you because they think everything you do means you're going to feed them. So I guess I do know why I never feed them. But I still think it's weird that nobody else seems to ever remember about it. There are three of us, aren't there?
O man I need to be asleep already. Doing that now.
