photos! London first.

I have to admit, I hate the word "picspam". People always call it that whenever they post any photos, and I suppose they mean it's because they're sort of apologizing for cluttering others' reading lists with self-indulgent photos, but... It's really not. If I don't feel like looking at someone's photos, I'll scroll past the cuts. But usually I like to glance at them, and people always respond more to photo posts than other ones-- so obviously, even if people don't like all the photos, and it's a bit self-indulgent to post more than about 5 and expect people to scroll through them all, still and all, they're photos and people like to see photos.

So I'm not apologizing for these, and I'm certainly not spamming anyone with them. If you would like to see the photos I took in London, please click through to the Flickr photostream. I will apologize for not having them in a set, but I have a free Flickr account and am so limited in how many sets I can make that it's just not feasible to use that feature at all.
So it's just a stream. And if you reach the end of the stream and there are more, well then, that means I've gotten around to uploading photos of my trip home. These ones are all captioned-- I figured out how-- so it should be pretty self-explanatory.

I love how things in London are alarmed. There is one door to some theatre offices in Piccadilly Square that has been alarmed every time I walk by (even though there are years between each encounter). Poor door, perpetually startled! It needs the countryside.

I don't see what the big deal is with photos. They are worth 1,000 words right. Actually I enjoy looking @ people's photos or Youtube posts. The 3,000 word posts are what I skim through to be honest...
