Hangover cure needed. Am in dire situation. Cannot keep water down. Getting tired of being so dizzy. Eugh.
Great party.

I can suggest a couple of homeopathic remedies, if you can get them. They always work miracles for me.

Ug, I'm just trying to drink tea brewed from fresh ginger slices, and hoping for the best. I don't know if there are any homeopathic kind of shops around. But I've been awake and trying to function for five hours now and am still too nauseated to keep water down.

Well, ginger tea usually works. If you can find a homeopathic shop, I can suggest something to have in hand for future use.

I've kept the ginger tea down for about 10 minutes so far. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I do this so rarely, it's just annoying that it's happened now while I'm in a foreign country, and so far from my own bed and my own medicine cabinet and my own kitty. Lying sick in bed is much less fun with no companions more furry than my only-somewhat-furry boyfriend.

I hope you feel better today.

And I didn't realize you were not home. Who's taking care of Chita now?

Oh, we're in London, UK, visiting my friend for her wedding. Chita is staying with her grandma, Z's mom, who just lost her cat of 17 years and so welcomes the company.

Eating a slice of bread may help absorb some of the stomach acids and help with the nausea. You may want to try drinking something like watered down gatorade or something since it's usually dehydration that causes most of the problem. Oh and some tylenol to help with the headache.

I tried the gatorade and threw it right back up. :(
But I never had a headache!
Eventually it was a nap that sorted me out, but it was kind of a bummer to have my second-last full day in a foreign city consumed by my total inability to hold my liquor. Boo!
