dragonlady7I'd been working on writing stuff all day whenever I wasn't working on other stuff-- dishes, laundry, dinner, talking to Z, etc. Didn't leave the house, so I got in a bunch of solid hours.
Over 10,000 words today.
OK a lot of it was just rewrites, with some verbatim copy-paste here and there. But a lot of it was new.
That's a chapter and a half, at my current level of chapter divisions.
2008 might not suck after all. We'll see.
Edited to add: that means I have five and a half chapters done, as in done-done this is a real actual coherent not preliminary draft and I know how it ends etc., and that's around 42,000 words. And yes, the story's about half way done, though I still feel like it's just beginning. OK, maybe it's a third done. But that's still normal novel length.
