I seem to be suffering from an overwhelming desire to spell things rong today. I cant help it.
Anyhoo.
Highlight reel from Saturday night. I am simultaneously psyched and chagrined to have been included in it. Psyched, because I've never actually been included in a highlight reel before. Chagrined, because I am included at my very worst moment: I was pivot, and had lost track of our jammer, and was frantically trying to spot her, and the Dollies captain, the estimable ms. Fetishly Divine, took full advantage of my distraction to totally pwn me. It was pretty humiliating. And there it is, in slow-mo replay. You can even see me notice her about to hit me. It's a sublime moment.

I actually opened this window to write something else and have no idea what. Are you proud of me or what? Attention span of a goldfish. But this really was going to go on and be about not-derby stuff too. Oh well! Maybe later I'll remember what the heck I had meant to say.

In practice I *never* get knocked down. I'm super-stable and nobody can get me like that. But I get so distracted in real bouts. Fetish did that to me twice.
I mean, I'm skating well, and all, but it's just a moment of total pwnage, and not in my favor. I should probably screencap it and make an icon out of it, just to remind me.

At least she hit you hard and solid - not any wimpy maiming for you! You can rationalize this as that she *had* to hit you that hard because you're so good... I like the idea of screen shotting it for an icon, though! It will make you that much tougher!
