I just totally got phished

dragonlady7I got an email from mail@egreetings.com telling me someone had sent me an ecard. I thought it odd that it didn't say *who* had sent me an ecard, but I get them so infrequently that I wasn't sure if that was normal now.
I clicked the link and it asked me if I really wanted to run this Windows executable file from somethingorother.ru. Noooo!
So I went to egreetings.com and pasted in the ID number instead, and it was invalid.
Hm!
Anyway, I don't usually pass along virus warnings, but I'll pass that one along.
It's so long since I had to worry about viruses, but now that my stupid Macbook is Intel I guess I have to worry about them more. Bleh. I'll let you know if my computer melts, but since I didn't run the .exe I might be OK...
I have lengthy and comprehensive updates to make later, but odds are I won't, so I'll just say here that it was a lovely if exhausting weekend, I slept over twelve hours last night, and I'm thoroughly not psyched to be going back to work today. Oh well, here I go...
