I can’t have nice things! Why do I have nice things? Ahh what is even the point of nice things??
Ugh I am super bad at housework. I’ve done like, ten minutes of cleaning/organizing. Dude built the IKEA shelves I bought, and I have put like, a vase and a photo on them, and started rearranging things to fit better in the room, and now I’m doing the thing where I’m PARALYZED WITH INDECISION about what to do next. He was like, Oh here are these things to mount it to the wall once you’re sure it’s going to go, and I tried to think about the last time I was sure of something like that and came up blank.
I have this art, though, leaning against the wall, behind where the shelves are, that we paid a bunch of money to have mounted, and have left in paper bags for four or five years now. We could put it up onto the walls.
But it all seems foolish and pointless.
Believe it or not, I’m doing much better. Shame will motivate me, in a moment, to do something before he gets back from the grocery store. Look I put a light bulb in the lamp that makes me an adult!
Bah. Reality is so boring.
