Strike 1:
The warehouse was insane. Things were in the wrong bins. All the cushions for those boingy wooden chairs were all dumped in one spot, not in the bins they said they'd be in. I searched and searched and found a blue footstool cushion and a matching chair cushion. I carried them all over, in their clear plastic bags. I got them home. This morning the sun rose.
The chair cushion is not blue, it's black.

Strike 2: We got an Ektorp Tullsta chair. It is a tiny wee cute cushy armchair with tiny wee legs. It fits perfectly in our bedroom. It's a bright, cheerful red. We got the last one. We were so pleased.
IT HAS NO LEGS.
Someone had slit the tape at the top of the box, and we just thought it'd had a heavy box on top of it, you know.
No.
Someone had opened it enough to steal the legs, apparently.


We are across an international border, and then sixty miles away.
We are not fucking driving back to Assfucknowhere, Canada, because they can't keep their shit together.

NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Hey, my fiancee lives in the town just north of Assfucknowhere, Canada. We went last weekend, and those Swedish meatballs were mm, delicious. But neither of us actually bought anything.

That really sucks the big one! How absolutely awful. I don't suppose you can write to the manufacturers?

*I'd* be ticked, for sure. And they can't afford enough light to be able to tell what color something is?

That does not sound like any IKEA store I've ever been to. I actually think you should write to the head of the Canadian IKEA. because this is not the kind of things IKEA wants to be associated with.
