"Owww!" Z whined. "Oww!"
"Is she clawing you?" I asked.
"No! Her tongue is rough!"
"..."
"What's your deal?" he asked the kitten, who, purring, did not pause in her careful and meticulous grooming of his very hairy arm.
"They do that to be nice," I said.
