I did data entry until my eyes threatened to fall out
Then I went up to the production floor and shot a commercial voiceover
Then I went over a rather excited electrical engineer’s handwritten report on a safety flaw in a competitor’s product
Then I spent like six hours writing up said report into a nice Word document with photos and illustrations and bar graphs and formatting
Now I am really really really really tired and coffee’s just making me jittery
I think my attention span has been exceeded by about three days
I need to spend this weekend in a dimly lit, neutral-colored, temperate room with no moving lights or loud sounds, and I just have to kinda lie there.

Date: 2007-05-25 09:07 pm (UTC)I know what you mean about the quiet room. I used to feel that if I had to hear another scanner or any other noise again I'd just scream. But the good news is that eventually you'll probably stop noticing all the craziness. I am so good at tuning it out that I sometimes forget to listen to the scanner even when it's my turn to do it.
