nanfantoot who has just moved away to Chicago.
So I searched for House of Cosbies and found it on Google Video. I watched it and was mostly just confused. But Dave downloaded all the videos and has been watching them over and over, and quoting them at me at odd moments, so I suppose it's safe to say they're a hit in this household.
I spent yesterday cleaning out my closet. I wished you were here the whole time. You'd be proud of me, though. I perservered and now I have everything put away and even *ironed*. I came clomping up from the basement with two armloads of things on hangers, burst in the door of Dave's room and said "I AM IRON WOMAN" and he really didn't get it, but that's OK, someone out there someday will appreciate how awesome that was.
So Mom says you're doing OK in Chicago and you arrived and you're cool and everything, so I hope that's really true. I hear in Chicago they make their hot dogs in poppy-seed buns with neon-green relish. I won't ask you to have one, but I do want you to see if that's really true because I'm curious.
Today is the roller derby bout in which I'm not skating!! I'm quite excited about it but I'm also bummed, because once this is over I'll have to start being serious in practice again. I've also had the excuse last week that I don't think I have health insurance for the moment-- I need to find out about that at my new job Monday morning.
So I just looked up the Windy City Rollers' schedule and OMG!! They have a bout TODAY!! A double-header-- Hell's Belle's vs. the Manic Attackers; Double Crossers vs. the Fury. It's at The Stadium - 1909 S. Laramie, 60804
Doors at 5pm, starts at 6pm
$15 Advance tickets, $20 at Door

They also have one a month up until October, so you betcher buttons one of these months I'll come out and take you to one. :D
What size clothing do you wear? I just uncovered a stash of clothes Katy gave me to bring north with me last year, and I forgot I had them, and they're all size 8-10 stuff, some with tags still on, that I assume she's just too skinny for. Pants, skirts, even an evening dress.
Yeah, I'm kind of too ashamed to admit to her that I forgot about them when I'd promised I'd give them to you and Fiona, but I sort of don't see you guys all that often either.
OK, I should really be going and finishing the rollergirls' press kit. (And *cough* cleaning the rest of my room. Hey, I found my learner's permit! That was such a cute picture, I wish they'd let me keep it.)
But! I never gave you a graduation present. If you need anything, let me know. Otherwise I guess it'll have to be just boring cash. Let me know your address.
