dragonlady7always makes me so happy to be with any of my sisters.
spent the night comfortably on a leather couch, assaulted by cats. Peaches, an elderly ginger boy with a penchant for as much bodily contact with humans as possible, gave me repeated breast examinations in my sleep, trying to walk over me and kneading me and purring. Remy, a tiny but chubby Russian Blue, has been dashing around the apartment with wide-green-eyed zest. Sparrow, a little fat calico, keeps staring at me from across the room as if my presence pleases her, which is strange.
I just booted her off this chair to use the computer (she had been lounging luxuriously on her back with all four paws in the air, watching me pet Remy), and she wasn't even annoyed.
The weather is beautiful here as well. Now I am petting Remy with my foot and she is ecstatic.
We went to wrap the wedding present last night and realized after lugging the whole schmaltz up the stairs that, duh, we didn't have the whole thing yet, duh. Ann has some of it too. Though she might wrap them separately, I don't know.
Am off to Ithaca in about an hour and then onward to Long Island. Lots of driving today.
