I ordered a 34G bra from a British website on Monday.
I got home tonight and it was here.

This is the first time in my life I've had a bra that was both a) tight enough in the band that it did not ride up in the back and b) large enough that I did not overflow the cups.

HOLY SHIT.

My mind is officially, completely, totally blown.

In other news: twice today I was approached to solve a running debate between two people. (In the sort of way that rarely happens anymore in my social life, due to the constant presence of wireless Internet, Google, and Wikipedia.) I was approached in this fashion once as a waitress, and once by a waitress-- once at work and once while eating some pizza after work. (They let me out at an almost reasonable hour tonight!! Too bad it wasn't a night when I was trying to be somewhere after work. Thanks, assholes.)

Question 1, at work: What is the significance of 420? How did it become associated with pot, suchas that tonight is now officially designated for the smoking of pot, it being 4/20?

Question 2, at work: Where are the Flemish from? As in, where is the land from which a Flemish thing, namely beer as this was a very beery joint we were at [Locals: Pizza Plant], would be from?
[They were thinking Scandinavia. OK, at least I know that much.]

I could answer one but not the other, but I'd like to hear y'all's answers, as y'all, being the Internet or a sample thereof, are collectively smarter than me?

The flemish are of course from Flanders. Historically Flanders was bigger than it is today. Now it is a part pf Belgium, the part where flemish (a variety of dutch) is spoken. biut the duchy of Flanders in the Middle Ages also included most of walloon (french speaking) Belgium and parts of what is now northern France.

420 is the police code for drugs
Flemish is a race of people within Europe, specifically within the Flanders area of Belgium. It's also a dialect of Dutch. It's my rabbit's breed "flemish giant".

PS you should buy 8000 of those bras. And you are not fat, you just have gigundous bobbies. Size 34 band? Not fat.

I'm re-reading my comment and horrified by my spelling errors.

In what country?
Seriously, the most commom police codes in the US are the "Ten Code," as in, each number starts with 10. For example: In New York (the state), 10-80 is a dead body. It's pronounced "ten-eighty." The idea is that if the radio grables the beginning, you still get the gist. And at least in NYS, there's no specific code for drugs. The codes are not used to report on criminal behavior, they're used to warn the officer of the most serious problem that he/she will encounter. Drug calls usually become "person harassing" or "person annoying" or refer to something more serious like assault -- NOT the underlying reason like "person is high."
