So this is rad, and all. Dude saw the link to this person on Twitter or something, and we’ve now sat and listened to like half her catalogue. She’s got a lot of stuff up.
But this, listening to this, I suddenly remembered that in 2001 I wrote a novel, a space opera, about a pair of lesbian space pirates, and the main character was named Layla, and her girlfriend was a beautiful, older black woman who taught her a lot about ruthlessness, and was named Lucille.
I wonder where that novel ended up. I have a creeping feeling I’d have to throw most of it away.
