dragonlady7Quitting my useless headfucking job and instead going to bartend in a new strip joint downtown:
1) Genius!
2) Terrible idea!
(Side note: the strip club is meant to be a classi[er] burlesque sorta joint; it's upstairs from a regular bar I know and love, and the owner is awesome. Also my job sucks currently. Every time we get new managers, it's like this pack of rabid weasels, and after a while you can kinda get the weasels tamed, but after they stop foaming at the mouth, they wise up and leave, and you have a new pack of rabid weasels to contend with. This has just happened: I have a new pack of rabid weasels that I am faced with the need to tame, and... I just... don't... have the strength. I have formed several successive generations of asswipe managerial staff, from rabid weasels into somewhat-more-personable weasels, and I just can't muster the necessary gumption to start all over. Because it never ends. And it's meaningless. And the stakes are so very, very low, but they are the difference between living a life and not, and I really don't want to go back to the state of Not again.)
