dragonlady7A newer employee wanted more hours this week, so I gave her my Tuesday, and then last night she called and said she'd been put on the schedule for today so she couldn't work for me after all.
The manager said they'd let me know if they needed me to come in after all today. I've spent the morning fully expecting that they will not in fact let me know and, indeed, since I need to leave the house in ten minutes, I've just had to call them.
The manager on duty had no idea what I was talking about and acted like I was a complete fool for even thinking that anyone would call me.
I guess I was a complete fool. They're not much for holding up their end of agreements.
