dragonlady7Am hanging out in da basement with Z. We're staying in tonight. We swung by the auto body shop on the way home from work today to see the car. I think it's not totaled. Z isn't sure. The electric drivetrain is apparently undamaged. The hood is crumpled up, but I doubt that the engine is much damaged. The airbags didn't deploy, although the other car's did. Apparently the other car was a pickup truck.
We're engaged in some mellow, low-key, homebody painkilling, which is quite entertaining. We've managed to go through almost all our beer, though, and it's unfortunate how by the time that happens it's always when everyone's too far gone to go get anymore. Noo, for the rest of the night we will have to be contented with whatever is in the house.
Which is why it's important to keep a well-stocked household.
Both of us are doing OK at the moment, however. So that's nice. We'll see about the rest of the world tomorrow.

Be glad it's not a total loss. Having a car declared a total loss in an accident is SUCH an annoying experience.
