dragonlady7I am trying to finalize the plot of Barbarians_Novel and the goddamn bleeding thing will NOT hang together.
It's like there are two major plot strands and they will NOT twist together. I need both plots and they don't work.
AUGH.
I'd convinced myself that if only I had time to sit and think about it I could get this draft plotted out and rewritten and the novel would be done. Today's the first day I really don't have anything else more urgent to do (that I'm letting myself think about, at least) and I absolutely cannot focus on this.
It is very frustrating, to put it as an understatement.
In other news I have got the basement tidied and ready for seed starting, and have to organize the gardening supplies now and decide what I'm actually growing. I haven't bought anything, but I bought way too many seeds last year and have had them stored in the fridge with leftover dessicant packets from shoeboxes to keep them from sprouting, so I should be pretty well set. It's another experiment.
Also I decided I would try to learn how to put rag curls into my hair, and so my hair is all wound up in weird knobs. Obviously I need practice, but I was getting the hang of it toward the end-- it'd be a neat thing to know how to do. However I've no idea whether it'll work or not, of course.
It looks stupid at the moment, but we'll see once i take it out. However, I don't know how long it needs to sit. Hm.
Still not distracting me from the fact that I haven't finished writing this goddamned fucking novel yet and really don't know how to.

I have to inventory what I have. Half of it's left over from last year, half is saved from my harvest of this summer. I might go out and buy a few packets at Home Depot or the local garden center, but I haven't figured out what I have yet, or what I want.
