Sit right behind me, right behind the desk I can’t leave. Have a loud, angry, contentious phone call in the shrill voice I know you can’t help but that goes right through my headphones.
Then hang up and turn to me, “Can you believe this person?” and literally recite the phone call to me, verbatim, regardless of whether I respond. Then pick up the phone and call another person and angrily, shrilly, recite the phone call to them.
I can’t unclench my jaw, this is agony.
