Ran errands. Have groceries now. Have cleaned out both full-size fridges in the house. Basement fridge is getting turned off for the nonce: minifridge on back porch can hold beer now, and there's no point in having three goddamn refrigerators. Here I am making a compost pile and driving a hybrid car and line-drying my clothes to save on the electric dryer, and I've got three refrigerators? No, really, I don't need them all.
I can still store pop in the basement one with it off, and it'll be colder than room temperature.
Cleaned out some scary things from the kitchen fridge. We had no room, and also no food. Seems stupid. So it's fixed now, although not as clean as it could be.
Got the back porch set up, partly. Still messing around with it, not sure what's going where. But got the couch out there, and the computer, and have set up the Mini-Fridge, including switching the door to open on the other side so I can get out a pop without getting up from the couch. How sweet is that? I'll survive this summer somehow.
*gets a pop out of the fridge*
Wow, that was easy.
I digress. Pondering the impending Getaway, Z's best idea was to zip down to Watkins Glen for some gorgeous hiking. (Webcam: here.) Then we could look at some wineries etc.
Only thing is, it's supposed to rain tomorrow and the day after. So hiking would be problematic.
My sisters live in that neck of the woods. I can't get ahold of either one, of course.
I am so brainscrambled at the moment that I can't contemplate actually making plans, which is another problem: Plans have to be made, of course, since we'd have to leave tomorrow. But without a concrete Yes! We must do this! sense to it, it's impossible for me to figure out what the hell to do. So I'm sort of doing laundry and cleaning the house and gardening, and wishing I could focus on anything at all. I really do think I'm mentally deficient, but I can't actually make myself plan this. It's kind of... bad.
Indecision! Paralyzing!
Well, at least I'm getting some housecleaning done.
