So as of today I'm a food columnist!
Teas for Tru! is my review of a tea shop on Elmwood. I think I have to go and email everyone I know now.

*intermission music while I do so*

So. That came out in today's issue, which is a big important one because it contains the results of the Best of Buffalo voting. If you've ever been here, have ever been curious about here, or have any plans to perhaps some day come here, this issue serves as an interesting window into what we like, here. It's more a popularity contest than a real, scientific evaluation of what's good about Buffalo; Z would like to do it the way the Village Voice does, by having the staff evaluate everything, but it's always been a popularity contest and people like it.

Another thing in today's issue that I am pleased about is Z's latest column, this one about the straight razor. His editor's made some noises about getting him syndicated, which would be fun. This article's amusing enough, but what I really like is his tagline at the end. He's funny.


In other news I'm breaking down and planting tomatoes today.

The last few grafs, from the dessert on down, were really really great. Mmmm, I want that dessert...I loved your details about the wireless Internet and the "strangely addicting" pre-meal thingie.

But, I would skip details such as the "pleasant, soft-spoken" waitress and elaborate explanations of everything around the tea shop. I'd zoom right into the descriptions of the food, which were really interesting and electrifying.

Good Job Bridget! Now I want to go eat there, is it worth three layover/plane changes and eight hours on a cheap flight? It sounds like fun! I loved Dave's article too. He is really funny, I told Jer he needs to get a Straight razor.
