I have just spent *the entire* day reading over the whole manuscript of the WIP. I don't know-- to all you other authors, do you usually do that? It takes so long... Seriously, I read fast, and it was still a good five hours' reading. Which is a lot for me. It's something like 140,000 words long. I'm starting to get inklings of where to pare it down, but I'm not there yet-- I still have several thousand words left to do of the ending, and I want to finish it before I edit.
But ouch. That was a lot of time.
Z's spent all day working on the Restaurants section of his paper's website. It's now a fabulous resource if you ever want to know where to go to eat in Buffalo. But it meant he was hungry all day.
Buh, I feel like I've wasted the day. Time to get up and do something, but what, I don't know: it's cold and windy and dark, and I'm brainfried.
